I am a friendly, gregarious tutor who aims to get the best out of pupils in a relaxed, but academically rigorous, environment.

My lessons are centred around the needs of the pupil: often, we will work around a specific text, poem or paper. Having graduated with a First Class degree from the University of Oxford in English Literature, I prefer a free-flowing tutorial style which aids clear communication of complex ideas.

I have experience teaching a wide range of ages, with current pupils ranging from 7 to university students, and also have experience preparing students for a variety of exams (7+, 8+, 11+, 13+, GCSE, A-Level).
