I always like to start with a warm up game to get your brain ticking. It’ll often be a fun one to also just ease into the session, I find it also creates a more comfortable environment as I know sometimes it’s hard to be as engaged online as you’d be in person.
Before hand I would have asked you or your parents what exactly you’d like to cover in the session and so I’d first do some explaining with a slideshow, which will contain notes as well as some examples which should help you understand the content better and then we’d do a few exercises to back it up and make sure that knowledge we’d been over in the slides can now be applied.
Then to finish off the session I think a quiz is beneficial as it’s a fun and it ensures I know you have understood the content we’ve covered.
I am a very approachable person and so do not be afraid to ask any questions. I can’t wait to work with some of you.
If I was coaching you for a sport or just general fitness, I’d create a program before hand to ensure you had an idea of what we’d be doing. I’d talk you through all the steps of the sessions as well as watch your technique to see where it could improve. Even if we do not have a scheduled session I’m always happy for you to send me a video so I can check whether your technique is correct. Sport i’d my passion and so I’m really excited to hear from you.
