With four years of teaching experience—three in Australia and one in the UK—I deliver engaging, adaptable lessons tailored to the individual needs of each pupil. My approach follows the UK primary curriculum, ensuring consistency with what children are learning in school, while offering the flexibility to support their unique pace and learning style.
My lessons are hands-on, interactive, and designed to keep young learners actively involved. Whether using concrete resources in maths or practical activities in English, I believe children learn best through experience. I regularly incorporate games, visual aids, and creative tasks to make lessons enjoyable and memorable.
Repetition plays a key role in my teaching, helping pupils build confidence and retain key skills over time. I revisit important concepts regularly to deepen understanding, while varying activities to keep sessions engaging.
Each lesson follows a clear structure: a brief recap of prior learning, a focused teaching segment, guided practice, and a short reflection at the end. However, I’m highly adaptable—if a pupil needs more time on a topic or responds better to a different method, I adjust my approach to suit.
Above all, I aim to create a positive, supportive environment where children feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes, and enjoy the learning process. My goal is not only to help them achieve academic success, but also to build their self-esteem and foster a lifelong love of learning.
