Jesh Samy

Jesh consistently receives excellent feedback from students and parents with proven results, including Grade 9 outcomes and A/A*.

She is a driven languages tutor and BA Modern European Studies graduate from the University of Nottingham where she completed Combined Honours in French, Russian and History.

Since December 2021, Jesh has taught languages online in private settings, working with students to strengthen grammar, pronunciation, reading skills, exam technique and overall confidence.

She supports primary, KS3, GCSE, IGCSE, A-level, IB and adult learners through structured and personalised lessons designed to master exam technique and make learning easy.

Jesh holds an enhanced DBS certificate and has experience teaching across all major UK exam boards. Her wider teaching background includes English as a Second Language (ESL) at a primary school with groups of 28 to 35 students, an internship at a grammar school in Essex and a mentorship programme at a primary school in Nottinghamshire.

Her teaching style across all subjects is patient and intellectually challenging.

She uses scaffolding strategies to break down difficult topics step by step, while encouraging students to think critically. She also has experience in SEND school environments, allowing her to adapt lessons with flexibility and care for students with different learning needs.

Students use MS Teams and MS OneNote to access their homework and textbook.

Peak Rate: £35 per hour
Evenings and weekends

Off-peak rate: £30 per hour
Weekday daytime slots (8am–5:30pm)
