I am a passionate and approachable maths tutor dedicated to making mathematics clear, enjoyable, and confidence-boosting for students of all ages. My lessons are fully personalised to meet individual needs, whether you are preparing for exams, tackling challenging topics, or looking to strengthen your foundations.

My approach is interactive and student-centred. I believe that every learner can succeed in maths with the right guidance, encouragement, and learning strategy. I break complex concepts into manageable steps, use relatable real-life examples, and encourage active problem-solving so students not only memorise methods but also truly understand the ‘why’ behind them.

I have hands-on experience as a Maths Teaching Assistant at George Spencer Academy, where I worked with students from different year groups and ability levels. This role allowed me to adapt lessons to suit varying learning styles, provide one-on-one and group support, and help students build both skills and confidence. Alongside this, my Biomedical Engineering degree equips me with a strong mathematical foundation and the ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical, real-world problems.

My lessons typically begin with a quick review to check understanding, followed by guided practice and independent problem-solving. I use visual aids, step-by-step demonstrations, and past paper questions where appropriate. I also place a strong emphasis on exam technique, time management, and overcoming maths anxiety.
