My goal is to prepare the student for a real world setting, I know many people who studied English or Mandarin for years, but can barely speak it beyond the beginner’s level. Anyone can learn a language, but you have to be immersed in it, in order to master a language. Whether it’s for business conversations or social interactions, I believe I have the prerequisite skills to improve one’s English or Mandarin in those regards. Also I’m rather patient, and I don’t get frustrated easily, after all I had quite a bit of experience in teaching children with learning disabilities like attention deficit. I have been teaching both children and adults various subjects on and off for a couple of years now, and I always tailor my lessons according to the needs and requirements of the individual student. I would always ensure that the student understands the current lesson at hand before we would proceed to the next, since I don’t believe in just teaching them but to teach with results, and I would always follow up during the next class with a simple review to make sure that the student not only remembered what was taught but fully understood them as well.
