Jeremy

Hi, I'm Jeremy, a Sports and Exercise Science graduate, and I tutor high-school students in biology, chemistry, biochemistry and maths. I'm a pretty laid-back tutor, but I still make sure we get the job done and that you see real progress in your understanding and your grades.

My lessons are online, relaxed and built around you. I'll start by finding out what you're studying, which topics you're comfortable with and which ones are giving you trouble, then focus our time where it actually makes a difference. Rather than just handing you answers, I like to explain the "why" behind a topic and break it down into simple, clear steps, so it genuinely clicks and you can do it yourself in an exam.

A typical session might involve going over a tricky concept, working through examples together, and then practising with questions or past papers so you build confidence and exam technique. I'm patient and happy to explain things more than once or in a different way until it makes sense; there's no pressure and no silly questions.

My science degree gave me a strong grounding in biology, chemistry and the maths and statistics that go with them, and I've always been good at taking complex ideas and making them easy to understand. I also know what it takes to revise effectively and perform under exam conditions.
