With over 20 years of experience as a fashion buyer and practising artist, I bring industry knowledge, creativity, and real-world insight to every lesson.

I have two years’ teaching experience delivering A-Level Fashion and Textiles, Access to Higher Education Diploma in Art and Design, and Arts Award programmes. I am also trained in supporting students with SEND, allowing me to provide inclusive, accessible lessons tailored to individual learning styles and goals.

My lessons are structured, engaging, and personalised. I begin by assessing each student’s skills, interests, and ambitions, then design sessions that build confidence, creativity, and technical ability. Lessons include clear explanations, demonstrations, visual examples, practical tasks, and constructive feedback, while encouraging independent thinking and professional working practices.

Students can focus on fashion design, fashion business (including buying and marketing), illustration, textile design, garment development, drawing, painting, mixed media, and portfolio development. For portfolio-focused students, I guide the entire process from concept and research through to annotation, presentation, and final outcomes.

Students I tutored in 2025 successfully completed their qualifications and progressed to higher education.

My approach is supportive and motivating, helping students develop a strong personal creative voice and the skills needed for further study or creative careers.
