As a university student with experience tutoring i am able to take the perspective of both teacher and learner so i still understand the struggles of learning new things and that enables me to plan my lessons with that in consideration
Depending on where you are in your academic journey (i.e gcse, primary school or 11+) i provide lessons tailored to you
I like to have an understanding of each students current abilities so what you are really struggling with and what you are confident with and then we can start building a lesson plan from there
My main lesson normally goes as follows: Learn Practise then Apply
So we spend time learning content making sure you are familiar with it
Then moving onto practicing the content with questions
Then i give you an opportunity to apply this content independently to make sure you are confident with it
Lessons range from 1/2 hours and homework will normally be given to ensure you are actively recalling the content outside of lessons
