Every lesson I teach is completely tailored to each child’s unique needs, learning style and goals. Whether your child is in primary or secondary school, I take the time to understand their strengths and challenges, so that I can build engaging, supportive sessions that genuinely help them progress in English.
No two lessons are the same — I adapt my teaching methods to suit the individual, whether they need help with grammar, reading comprehension, creative writing, or exam preparation. I provide a wide range of worksheets and materials to reinforce key concepts and I’m always happy to supply practice essay or exam-style questions to help build confidence and prepare for assessments.
I believe learning should be fun and memorable, so I like to bring creativity and imagination into each session. One of my favourite techniques is using real-life or imaginative scenarios to explain important English elements — from punctuation and paragraph structure to character development and persuasive writing. This approach helps students connect more deeply with the material and retain what they’ve learned.
Above all, I aim to create a laid-back, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and trying new things. English can be a challenge for many children, but with the right guidance and a bit of creativity, it can also be enjoyable and empowering.
My goal is not just to help students improve their reading and writing skills, but also to help them gain the confidence to express themselves clearly and effectively. And most of all, I want them to love all aspects of English!
