I recently completed my GCSEs so all of my knowledge is fresh and extremely relevant to what you will be doing in school now. I tend to teach by example and through productive conversations about what works best for each person.
Through understanding what a student struggles with and needs the most, I'm able to find the most effective way to guide them.
Tutoring sessions might involve looking at practice questions and working through them together, me teaching essay technique, grammar and vocabulary building activities or creative writing. The sessions will be engaging and cooperative, including discussions about the content and feedback on independent writing, which a student may have done at school, with me or independently.
