I'm a First-Class Music graduate from the University of Oxford, and I’m passionate about helping students develop confidence, deepen their understanding, and reach their full potential—particularly in Music at GCSE, A-Level, and beyond.

Whether you're preparing for an exam, applying to university, or simply exploring your musical interests, I provide tailored, one-to-one lessons that adapt to your goals and learning style. I have experience supporting students with a wide range of needs and can offer help with:

Music analysis and essay writing (including set works and unseen extracts)

Harmony and composition (from basics to advanced, using both traditional and modern techniques)

Aural and score reading skills

Oxbridge and university application preparation, including personal statement feedback, interview support, and academic enrichment

Performance preparation and musicianship coaching, drawing on my experience as a trained singer, violinist, and pianist

My teaching combines academic rigour with a supportive, empathetic atmosphere. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and confident making mistakes, and I strive to create a space where that’s possible. Lessons are typically discussion-based, often involving close work with past papers, set works, or your own compositions, supported by bespoke worksheets and structured guidance where helpful. I also integrate elements of practical music-making where relevant—especially when helping students link theory to real musical outcomes.

In addition to Music, I also offer tutoring in GCSE Maths and French up to A-Level. I achieved A*s in all three subjects at A-Level, and have experience volunteering in schools, supporting students who were struggling or looking to stretch their understanding further. I aim to break down difficult concepts into manageable steps, helping learners build strong foundations and approach their studies with confidence.

Whether you're aiming for top grades, preparing for university, or wanting to enjoy learning more deeply, I’d be delighted to support you on your educational journey. I’m friendly, approachable, and deeply committed to helping each student succeed in a way that works for them.
