About me

I am an experienced (retired) English techer of all ages and levels, for English as a subject, second or foreign language. I also teach French. I believe the best way to learn a foreign language is through listening and speaking in a convivial and suportive atmosphere that inspires risk taking and raises confidence. I am an experienced (retired) English techer of all ages and levels, for English as a subject, second or foreign language. I also teach French. I believe the best way to learn a foreign language is through listening and speaking in a convivial and suportive atmosphere that inspires risk taking and raises confidence. Rather than focusing on mistakes, a teacher with communicatrive methods is about understanding and encouraging dialgoue, increasing vocabulary and verb constructions in a natural way. The most important aspect of learning a language is to have fun discussing a subject of interest, and enjoying the lesson.
