I am offering 1:1 online tutoring sessions for all students studying Psychology up to Undergraduate degree.
We will work collaboratively on areas you highlight to me as topics you would like to work on. Lessons will be dynamic, and may utilise powerpoint presentations, discussions and looking at effective study strategies to boost learning and long-term understanding. We can practice exam questions, essays and retention. If necessary, I am more than happy to recommend papers and additional material to further your understanding if that is something you would like!
I have particular expertise in Psychological Research Methods, Cognitive and Developmental Psychology, but I am keen to tutor across broader topics, including Social, Biological and Clinical Psychology. Having studied my BSc at Cardiff University, a BPS accredited course, and having undertaken Research Assistant positions, I have developed a great amount of skills and expertise across various domains. I will utilise this, alongside my strong dissemination skills, from my previous roles as a Maths tutor and Lecture Demonstrator for First-Year Psychology Undergraduates, to provide you with interactive and engaging sessions.
During A-Levels, I studied AQA Psychology, achieving an A*, so have personal experience with the curriculum and examination formats. Additionally, I am well-versed in various topics from a Russell Group university. I am hoping to pursue a Masters in Research this next academic year, and would like to undertake a PhD in the future - focusing on psychology principles in learning and education. This highlights my enthusiasm for psychology and education!
I am super keen to hear from you - get in touch!
Additionally, if you are planning to study Psychology at University, and would like some advice, I am more than happy to discuss this with you at any point! Please click the following link for a published resource I published through the British Psychological Association with some colleagues -
