Hi there! My name is Rav and I am a third year medical student at Keele University. I achieved AAB at A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths respectively.
I am passionate about tutoring as I take satisfaction in helping others understand difficult concepts. Throughout my education across two countries, I`ve encountered several teachers each with their own methods of teaching. These methods are very useful when approaching students who have different ways of learning, allowing me to cater to their individual needs and to make lessons as effective and efficient as possible.
Having studied sciences at both GCSE and A level, I have further developed my scientific knowledge at university. This has allowed me to also mentor my fellow colleagues and other students who may struggle with difficult concepts.
I have 5 months of experience tutoring GCSE students through school and have also taught my younger siblings in 11+ content and GCSE content.
I have delivered teaching presentations as part of Keele Medical educatint society with many positive reviews.
I have 3 months of ONLINE tutoring experience teaching GCSE students
I also have a thorough understanding of the medical school application process so feel free to ask for any interview practice as well.
Fun fact: I am an avid cricket fan and also into calisthenics!
I am bilingual and able to teach in my native language, Sinhala, if students find this easier !
(please message me about availalbility as it can often change from what is shown on tutorhunt as due to the nature of the medicine course)
