My lessons are structured to ensure students build a strong understanding of topics through consistent revision, clear teaching, and active practice.
Each session begins with a short revision section to reinforce previously covered material and help students retain knowledge over time. This is followed by the main teaching section, where I introduce new concepts using detailed explanations and step-by-step worked examples.
Students are then given practice questions to apply what they’ve learned, helping to deepen their understanding.
At the end of each lesson, we review key points and address any questions to ensure clarity and confidence.
I also assign targeted homework to consolidate learning and provide regular feedback to support progress alongside giving monthly tests for students to complete to assess them.
My approach is supportive, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs but also fun as I want to keep students engaged and enjoying their lesson so sometimes I will have learning games and puzzles to interest them.
