Jasmine Shah Shah

I have been a professional tutor for three years and specialise in senior school entry preparation and GCSE exam preparation in Maths. I have supported students in preparing for the 11 + exams for many of the UK’s leading schools including Q.E. Boy’s School, Henrietta Barnet, Harrodian School, City of London, and many more. I am confident in teaching all subject areas (Maths, English, Verbal and Non-verbal reasoning) for a variety of 11 + exams including ISEB, Consortium and Independent school exams.

When preparing lessons, I combine feedback from parents and students with an ongoing analysis of data accumulated from my own assessments of student work to find my tutees’ optimal learning paths.

I work to ensure my students cover the content quickly and efficiently without leaving any gaps. In my experience, it is vitally important to build up trust and ensure my tutees look forward to lessons that are productive, interactive, and engaging throughout.

To date, more than 90% of my pupils have achieved a place at their first-choice school and 100% of my pupils have achieved an A or A* in their Maths GCSE examination.

I am passionate about teaching and building student’s confidence in difficult subject areas. Therefore, I aim to make learning more enjoyable for students so they can achieve their best potential. I also focus on exam technique to ensure students are well equipped to achieve top marks.
