Having learned several languages myself, I understand the language acquisition process and use proven techniques to help my students develop a strong, lasting understanding of the language. I incorporate spaced repetition to reinforce vocabulary retention and encourage self-correction whenever possible, helping students build confidence, independence, and long-term fluency. Every lesson is tailored to each student’s individual goals, learning style, and needs, ensuring they make steady and meaningful progress.
I graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Translation and Interpreting, achieving Distinction in Spoken German and Distinction in Spoken Spanish. My academic background has given me a deep understanding of grammar, pronunciation, cultural nuances, and effective communication across languages, allowing me to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible way.
In addition to my academic qualifications, I have three years of experience teaching English as a Second Language in language schools across Spain. During this time, I have taught students of all ages and proficiency levels in a variety of settings, including one-to-one lessons, small group classes, and corporate training for businesses. This diverse experience has enabled me to adapt my teaching style to suit different learning environments, whether students are preparing for exams, improving their conversational fluency, or developing English/ Spanish/ German for professional purposes.
My lessons are interactive, engaging, and communicative, with a strong emphasis on building confidence alongside accuracy. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and actively using the language from the very first lesson.
I look forward to meeting you!
