Jasmine

Hi! My name is Jasmine, and I am currently getting my degree in English with Spanish at the University of Dundee. I have always had a passion for the subject, and I would love to share that with you!
I believe learning English should be fun - of course I would cater my lessons to the specific age group, but I like to use a variety of techniques such as games, memory tasks, and obviously, the widely dreaded grammar aspect of the subject. However, I do believe that once you understand it, the subject becomes much more enjoyable!
I offer tutoring up to SQA Higher level, and as a native Scot I understand the system very well. I am able to teach in a way that makes sure you’re hitting all the basic checkpoints, as well as going above and beyond to get the best mark you can!
I have 6 months experience in TESOL, as well as tutoring younger students during my time in school, which can occasionally require a bit of patience. English is a creative as well as academic subject, and I love to see other people’s interpretations, and help them find a way to put their thoughts into words. I am currently sitting at an ‘A’ level in my degree, so I am confident in my knowledge, and therefore feel like I have something to offer, and hopefully I can simultaneously inspire more people to get involved in the subject.
