Every student is different, as some will have a more effective way to study and revise that will not be as effective to others. I aim to understand and fully grasp the ability of the student on our first lesson so that way i can then choose which was suits them. As a student who has finished GCSEs, i wish i was told the importance of applying knowledge so in my lessons a lot of what we learn will be applied to the real world and also to exam questions. This way of learning reinforces the information we have just learned by applying it to something showing that it fits the same logic and that logic can be applied. As well as application of information, in my lessons i will include a lot of visual references to what i am teaching. This way of learning worked the best for me as a secondary school student as reading heaps of words off the board did absolutely nothing for me except confuse me at some points. So i will make the lessons as interactive as possible. My strongest subject would have to be Biology, but thats not to say i can not teach Chemistry and Maths also. In GCSE i was a grade 7 student in maths and both sciences and then i went on to do Biology, Chemistry and Psychology at Alevels, which i passed. So you will be in great hands by being taught by me
