For my potential students reading. You may be on here cause you’re probably wondering my teaching techniques and how u might ACTUALLY learn and become a better mathematician. Here I am to tell you! If you know me you would know that I have 3 younger siblings and that alone could tell you that I can talk to kids easily. What makes that even better is that as the oldest I have always taken it upon myself to help my sibling in there homework or studies. Especially maths. They always come to me when they are confused because I always have a way of explaining it that make it easier to understand. You wanna know the big secret? It’s not really about knowing maths itself it’s about using another example that most kids will understand in a maths way! I usually ask what they find confusing. Then I use a simple example to help them! I also never show my frustration if you don’t get it. I am patient and will show you what u need to do no matter how long or how much I might have to remind you. Besides I was never really that person you can count on when it comes to maths. Maths was my worst subject. I always unconsciously believed that I wasn’t good at maths and never will but that wasn’t true. My mom noticed how much I was struggling and got me a tutor and that tutor helped me to become the mathematician that I am today! All with practise,methods and the right mindset!
