My lessons focus on developing a thorough understanding of key psychological and sociological concepts while strengthening the skills needed to excel in examinations. We work on essay writing, evaluation, application of knowledge, research methods and effective examination techniques, using past papers and examiner guidance to build confidence and maximise marks.

As a Chartered Psychologist with over 30 years of teaching experience and an AQA examiner since 1999, I have extensive knowledge of the examination process and understand exactly what examiners are looking for. This allows me to provide practical strategies and targeted feedback that help students improve their performance.

Lessons are delivered in a friendly, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their confidence. I regularly review progress, identify areas for improvement and adapt each session to ensure students make steady, measurable progress.
