Lessons with me are fun, engaging, and focused on bringing out the best in every learner. I incorporate Read Write Inc. and Talk for Writing principles throughout my English sessions.
I’m also able to teach a range of other areas, including Maths, times tables, and various subjects across the primary phase.

Over the past few years, I have been based mainly in Key Stage 1, focusing on simplifying learning and helping children build strong foundational understanding. I also have experience teaching in Year 6, where I covered all curriculum areas in preparation for SATs.

Building positive relationships with children is a key priority for me. I take time to learn about their interests—whether that’s football, rugby, music, or anything else—so I can incorporate these into lessons and make learning more meaningful and engaging.

If there are specific areas of difficulty or gaps in a child’s learning, I always welcome this being shared with me as I can use this to benefit the child’s development. I am committed to adapting my teaching to meet individual needs and supporting both children and their parents as effectively as possible. My background in retail customer service has strengthened my communication skills and my dedication to providing a high-quality experience for families.

I have recently moved to Doha, Qatar and will be teaching here this year and next. While there may be a time difference, I will always do my best to be flexible, supportive, and to provide the highest standard of teaching I can.
