I work over Microsoft teams and prepare lessons for students individually, rather than using templates. I prefer to do this as it means I’m able to tailor lesson plans to suit individual needs rather than making children fit into a ready-made mould.

I worked at a pupil referral unit for two years in Wolverhampton teaching animal care for juvenile rehabilitation. I’ve also got experience tutoring young children with reading, a full DBS check and worked at an after school club for years.

I aim to make learning fun as I know it isn’t always the most interesting and exciting thing to do outside of school hours. I have found a lot of children disengage at school because of lack of interest which affects their academic performance. We will work together to ensure your child can learn in a supportive environment and excel where they used to struggle.
