My lessons are all about you: times, content and delivery is all tailored to you. I work under the relevant curriculums to create engaging, exciting lessons, whether it is basic conversational English all or advanced analysis for GCSE. Through three years of private tutoring, I have learned how to tell a student's preferred method of learning- through visual stimuli, auditory, sensory-based mediums, and so on- and use pictures, flash cards, discussions and other means to deliver.

I am a creative, out of the box thinker and love a challenge, so no two lessons are ever the same. To keep students engaged and learning fun, I've been known to turn high school English into Jeopardy-style quizzes, have students acting out the texts they study, and more, so a lesson with me is never a dull time! I am highly experienced in working with students with Additional Support Needs, and am trained in nonverbal communication, neurodiverse learning, de-escalation and basic Makaton to support this. I have also worked with many students who have English as an Additional Language and have supported them in their proficiency from knowing little to no English, all the way up to being fully bilingual.
