Hi — I’m a 15-year-old science tutor and I make lessons that suit different ways people learn. Each lesson is 45–60 minutes depending on the individual and I usually start with a quick recap of what you already know, then I explain the new topic using everyday examples and simple diagrams so it actually makes sense. I try to be flexible depending on how you learn:
Visual: I use colour-coded notes, labelled drawings and mind maps so you can see how ideas connect. Auditory: I explain things out loud, give short summaries, and talk through answers so it’s easier to remember. Kinaesthetic: I do simple hands-on experiments or real-world demos you can try at home to make concepts stick. Reading/writing: I give clear, structured notes, step-by-step guides and practice questions to work through. Lessons include guided practice with exam-style questions, quick quizzes to check understanding, and a 5–10 minute review at the end with key points and a short homework task. If something isn’t working I change the pace or the activity — we might do more diagrams, more talking, or a mini-experiment depending on what helps. I focus on building confidence as well as knowledge, so I keep things calm and patient and explain stuff the way a teenager would get it.
I’ve helped younger students with homework and revision at school, so I know common tricky bits. Tell me the topic and your goal (homework, test prep or catching up) and I’ll plan the lessons in advance if you tell me before the lesson
