I am a professional artist with 20yrs of teaching fine art across GCSE and A-Level with outcomes that are significantly higher than national averages. I enjoy working with people who want to find the best from within them, extracting their natural talent and interests to ensure that lessons are both interesting and rewarding.
I work on an individual and group process whereby I tailor all my lessons to the needs of the participants.
I provide all the art materials and then encourage participants to potentially purchase their own (if possible) so that they can continue practising and enjoying the processes and techniques outside of lessons.
I work really well with students who may not be able to access mainstream education or who have fallen behind for whatever reason. I can interpret specifications and course booklets to ensure that all the work that we do meets the assessment criterias and briefs.
For students who are looking to excel and develop their skills and practice further, I bring my professional artist hat with me and can provide personalised guidance to identify how they can further develop their inner artist and evoke creative thoughts beyond their existing knowledge and skill.
