About me

I have been teaching EFL in Argentina for 3 years and EAP, EFL and IELTS in China for 8 years.

I adhere to the CEFR guidelines emphasising practical competence in the English. To this end, i encourage creative and critical thinking in the classroom and i like to create fun, ‘glass half full’ environments to facilitate this for the students.

I'm particularly skilled at IELTS speaking and writing, having taken many of my students from band 5.0 to the 6.5 and above that they require for university admission.

I have lots of engaging lesson material and an excellent, clear understanding of grammar and I'm experienced enough to know how to let you do the talking, rather than talking over you in classes.
