I have taught drama in secondary schools for many years, and previous roles have included teaching at one of London's top independent schools and head of Drama at an Outstanding secondary school in Kent.
I have experience in a variety of different exam boards, including OCR, EDUQAS and AQA, and have tutored other students on different qualifications in the past.

I have taught drama in secondary schools for many years, and previous roles have included teaching at one of London's top independent schools and head of Drama at an Outstanding secondary school in Kent.
I have experience in a variety of different exam boards, including OCR, EDUQAS and AQA, and have tutored other students on different qualifications in the past.
I aim to increase potential in the written exam; making sure students understand key words and use them in the correct context. You will master the art of not only analysing key drama conventions and techniques, but also evaluate their success; an integral part of any drama exam.
Areas of study that can be focused on are:
- Evaluating live theatre performances.
- Understanding how theatrical lighting can be used to communicate meaning.
- Understanding the roles of different jobs within the theatre.
- How different theatre configurations can be used to communicate meaning.
- How to write effectively about a key set text.

I will nurture students to make them aware of their strengths and areas that need to be improved upon to help them make the most effective progress.
