Content depends on you: pop writing and lyric flow, film/game scoring (hit points, tempo maps, themes), concert music (form, instrumentation, clean parts), or electronic stuff (sound design, texture, arrangement). We’ll also tackle creative blocks, fast sketching, and tidy mock-ups so your ideas land.

I’ve been composing and playing professionally for 25+ years so you get real-world tips without the scary jargon.

Between lessons you’ll usually get a small brief (think 16–32 bars or a short cue), a listening list, and feedback—sometimes a quick video if that helps. We’ll build a portfolio you can use for applications, clients, or exams, and I’m happy to run mock assessments too.

The mood is upbeat and inclusive. Whether you’re writing your first theme or polishing a conservatoire portfolio, I’ll keep things practical, and help you understand or finish music you’ll proud to share.
