I believe in practicing how you play, so I’m all about having conversations and seeing what deficiencies need to be addressed. After identifying a language gap we can do more formal lessons about that gramatical concept and master it before returning to a conversation. Comprehensible input and conversation practice are the keys to acquiring and progressing in an additional language. If there’s anything specific that someone wants to learn for daily life or for work purposes then that can be the priority. Otherwise we go with the flow and learn through real life conversation, role-play, and natural methods just like a child would in their native language.
