I would start with a basic introduction session to understand your wants as a student, the areas you are most interested in and then create a personalised plan around your tutorage.
Depending on your preferences I can teach in a more direct traditional manner, explaining the necessary concepts completely to you or I can be more hands-off and provide the material you are interested in and step if you are confused.
Additionally as an individual with ASD and anxiety, I can emphasise if there are any extenuating circumstances that impact the progress of a session, I am happy to communicate outside of my working hours if there are any concerns and I am happy to try and accommodate as best as I can to meet any additional needs (ADHD accessible texts, additional time to figure out concepts, additional assistance in understanding concepts and of course putting your wellbeing and comfort as an individual first).
In terms of structure I would hope to offer presentations via PowerPoint and some live demonstrations via RStudio. Communication could be via Microsoft teams, Skype or Zoom. Usually the beginning of the sessions would start with an introduction on the theory behind the content covered, including both summaries and original papers if I can get access to them. I would then go into dissecting a study's value, comparing this to alternatives and then hopefully ending on a discussion section where in a proposal for new research that fixes the flaws of the original can be decided on between myself and the student(s).
This in turn hopefully will be a service that is able to provide you as someone interested in Psychology a beneficial insight into not only theories surrounding how we function in our developmental, social and cognitive domains but also allow you to develop critical research skills that should prove beneficial if you see yourself in wanting to take-up counselling or going into university to study a social science.
This should be a great beginners course if you are starting a Psychology A-level or University course next September.
