Jacob Boynton

My name is Jacob Boynton and I am 25 years old. I come from a small town in Northern England, and I am currently based in Toyota, Aichi but I am willing to relocate to other areas. I completed my education at the University of Stirling where I majored in History.

As a cover teacher I teach students by carrying out a large variety of pre-planned and my own lessons and provide a substitute teaching role when teaching staff are on a leave of absence. I cover a large variety of lessons including English, Maths and Science and all secondary school subjects

In my role as a Foreign Language Teacher at AEON my responsibilities were teaching English language to students of a large age range (age 4 to 80), planning lessons to help students improve their English conversation, and covering other teachers' lessons. I taught a variety of different class sizes from 1 on 1 to classes of 6-8 students. I taught English conversation through a variety of methods such as language acquisition and grammatical focused conversations.

My approach to lessons prioritizes students' enthusiasm for learning and developing their independent thinking. My classroom aims are to ensure that my students have a place where they can learn freely and not have to worry about possible problems if they are struggling to understand certain lessons. I also encourage my students to come up with ways that enable them to learn to the best of their abilities. I also like to discuss with students and develop a learning plan for them based on the lessons I teach.
