I am a mathematics graduate student from the University of Leeds, and have been tutoring in person and remotely for the last 3 years. I have always had a passion for mathematics, and deliver tutoring in a friendly, colloquial style adaptable to different abilities. My father has been a head of mathematics at schools for the past 30 years, and in the past has written and marked multiple GCSE exam papers, so I have an extensive and unique background into the field. Due to this I have very up to date knowledge of the curriculum and how it is adapting, and specifically what examiners are looking for. With this, I can tailor sessions specifically for the student, so can work through exam style questions and really focus on important topics to improve the student's specific grade, or give a wider general understanding of the topic. I have a lot of resources to aid many different abilities, from students struggling in their school, to students striving for a pass, to students really pushing for a level 9 at their GCSE's. With this I can adapt sessions to specifically focus on problematic topics and use resources to enhance the students understanding of that topic. I am a full time athlete, so my working hours are extremely flexible, and I really enjoy seeing progression in students.
