I am a 19 year old male on a gap year. I have an unconditional place at University of Nottingham to study Law next year, which was made possible by my A-Level results: A*,A*,B. Additionally, I have 9 GCSE's, and my recent study at high school and sixth form means I understand the struggles students face academically. I aim to combine real world skills with curriculum lead teaching to ensure the best quality future for students. My lessons involve presentations, and frequent knowledge checks. Speaking directly at students for an hour leads to boredom and the knowledge doesn't solidify properly, therefore I utilize frequent interaction to ensure my students have taken on board what I am teaching, and remains engaged throughout. Furthermore, as students progress through lessons I am to tailor my teaching style to their learning style. Everyone learns differently, whether through reading or practical application, etc, therefore I mold my teaching style to what best suits each student. Finally, I received 2 degree apprenticeship offers last year, and 2 University offers so far this year, which I plan to accept. This demonstrates sufficient knowledge in the employment market, and academic progression.
