I have a BA honours degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) as well as A-level geography. I am now also about to start a primary job as working for a major political party. My specialist subject is therefore political science but I covered significant ground in a range of social science disciplines as well as Philosophy, Economics and Geography.

Having worked most recently worked as a Fundraiser and in a collaborative office environment, I have developed very sound interpersonal skills and experience in actively engaging an audience. I would therefore draw upon these skills to teach what I have l studied effectively and adapt my approach to best suit a particular student.

I can relate theory to real life case studies to bring them to life and empower students with a higher level of understanding of the world around them as well as enhancing their abilities to succeed academically.

I am also highly competent in effective essay writing styles, so I can teach students to produce high quality written work for examinations and assignments.

I will be able to utilise ICT as an effective tool for illustration to maximise engagement, interest and understanding.

I am highly passionate about enabling others to succeed and fulfill their potential and believe that doing so would lead to an enriched society, with people being able to exert their positive influence.

Much of this passion and real world relatability of what I will teach comes from my own experience of initially choosing against going to University but reinvesting in education later on in life. This means that as well as learning about the subject areas I intent to teach, I appreciate the value of education and it's influence in a unique way.
