I will use a mixture of practice full-text questions and smaller extracts to go through together to ensure the student can develop both their writing skills as well as their analytical thinking which is transferable across subjects. I am happy to tutor online or in person, but either way lessons will be highly personalised to the students abilities and the texts they are studying - I will be sure to familiarise myself with each text before beginning tutoring sessions. I have extensive experience in a teaching role, having taught dance in a paid and volunteering capacity for almost ten years, so I know that in order to get the best out of a student personalised attention and nurturing care is required, which isn’t always possible in a classroom environment. Thus, I am confident I will be able to add value in a subject that is an integral pathway to further opportunities in life.
