My tutoring lessons are structured, supportive, and adapted to each student’s needs. At the beginning of a lesson, I like to identify what the student is currently learning in class and which specific concepts feel confusing or difficult. From there, I explain ideas step-by-step, using clear examples and guided practice to make sure the student truly understands the material rather than memorizing formulas.
I tutor middle school and high school math, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus. I am currently an 11th-grade AP Precalculus student, and I have experience helping classmates and peers improve their understanding, confidence, and test performance. Because I am close in age to many of my students, I understand common mistakes and how math is typically taught in school, which helps me explain concepts in a relatable way.
Lessons are held online using Zoom or Google Meet, along with a digital whiteboard for working through problems together in real time. I encourage students to ask questions freely and make sure the pace of the lesson feels comfortable, never rushed or overwhelming. I also help with homework, test preparation, and reviewing past material when needed.
My goal is to make math feel less stressful and more manageable by creating a calm, encouraging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and building strong problem-solving skills.
