I graduated with First-Class Honours in Computer Science from the University of Manchester and am now pursuing an MSc in Robotics with Extended Research. My academic background covers a broad spectrum of mathematics and computing: from A-Level topics such as algebra, calculus, probability, statistics, and mechanics, through to advanced university-level mathematics for machine learning, algorithms, and computational modelling. In computer science, I have studied and applied a wide range of topics including algorithm design, C++, Java, Python, database systems, and full-stack web development.

My experience makes me suitable not only for school students preparing for GCSEs or A-Levels but also for university students who need support with more advanced topics. At the University of Manchester, I worked as a PASS (Peer Assisted Study Support) Leader, where I organised and led weekly study groups for first-year students. This role required breaking down complex material into clear, accessible explanations while guiding students to build problem-solving skills and confidence. Supporting peers at university level has given me strong insight into effective ways of teaching both foundational and advanced material.

Before university, I actively competed in mathematics and coding competitions, achieving national-level awards. I also founded and led a maths and coding club in high school, where I prepared students for competitions. These experiences developed my leadership and teaching skills early on and taught me how to adapt to different learning styles.

My teaching style is student-focused and adaptable. Each lesson is tailored to the learner’s goals, whether that means preparing for school exams, strengthening university-level understanding, or learning programming from scratch. My principle is to build a solid foundation first, ensuring that students have a deep understanding of the core concepts before progressing to advanced material. Depending on the student’s preferences, lessons can include interactive exercises, multimedia resources, traditional worked examples, or practice problems. I also provide preparation material to work on between sessions and regular checkpoints that measure progress in a constructive, non-stressful way.

My aim is to make maths and coding both engaging and accessible—helping students of all levels, from school to university, build lasting confidence and achieve their academic goals.
