Experience myself in many different aspects of learning, the different ways of teaching will be acclimatised to the students preferred way. I can recite many of the GCSE English literature books and courses from the top of my head, and would love to see my student apply the same skills in their exams. Different formats may be used for different students skills and abilities, if they find it hard to remember, we would work on memory. However there are many different factors in literature, and ensuring we go through each stage, whether it is applying knowledge or even working on introductions or quotes, different formats and ways of learning will range between each students personal preferences. Having my own tutor during GCSE season definitely gave me that extra push to confidence so I was able to walk into the exam room with full confidence that I was capable to not only pass the exams, but to pass with an exceptional mark. Currently studying English at A-level now, I have grown to see the beauty in these books and I feel as though I can pick out different techniques from whatever book your child would like to work on. The content would range from us learning how to write different graded assessments, to learning key facts, figures and quotes from books, to analysing poems and learning how to write any essay at a high mark no matter the question the exam board brings. No matter what exam board the student is with, learning will still be fitted to however they feel comfortable with.
