Hi! I’m an 18-year-old Maths tutor offering friendly, supportive and personalised help for GCSE Maths students.

I achieved a Grade 8 in AQA GCSE Maths, as well as a Grade 8 in Edexcel GCSE Statistics. Having completed my GCSEs relatively recently, I understand the pressure of preparing for exams and the challenges students can face when certain topics just don’t seem to click.

One advantage of having a younger tutor is that I can relate to students and understand the GCSE experience from a more recent perspective. I aim to create a relaxed and comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes without feeling judged.

My lessons will be tailored to each student's individual needs. Whether you are struggling with the basics, finding specific topics difficult, or aiming to push towards the higher grades, we can focus on the areas that will benefit you the most.

During lessons, I can help by breaking down difficult topics into clear, simple steps, working through examples together, and gradually building up to more challenging exam-style questions. We can also use past paper questions to improve problem-solving skills, exam technique and confidence.

My goal is not simply to help students memorise methods, but to make sure they genuinely understand how and why the methods work. I believe that with the right explanations, patience and practice, Maths can become much more manageable.
