I have two years of experience mentoring and supporting students from Reception to GCSE level, including students with SEN. My goal is to create a calm, encouraging learning environment that promotes both academic progress and self-confidence.
At the beginning of our work together, I identify a student's strengths and areas for development so that lessons can be planned effectively and targeted towards their goals. During lessons, I encourage students to ask questions and actively engage with the material, helping them develop independent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. I regularly revisit previous topics to strengthen long-term retention and ensure that learning is secure before moving on to more challenging content.
