Isabel Hudson

As a recent graduate in BA Music (Songwriting and Performance) from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, I have 5+ years of experience in performing which includes singing, songwriting, performing a range of genres such as pop, musical theatre with my main performance focus being in my original music.

Within my teaching I am looking to teach a wide range of abilities from beginners and a range of ages in the disciplines of singing, piano, music theory, GCSE/A level music help and songwriting. With my teaching I offer a relaxed style that will feel inclusive and engaging for all students.

With singing we will focus on the beginning techniques and breath control, learning basic warm ups to develop pitch, tone and more advanced belting techniques, whilst integrating these into songs the student wishes to sing. With piano we will look at correct technique, hand position and note reading, again integrating these into the correct grade program and/or content the student wishes to learn.

Available to offer support and tutoring for music theory grades as well as GCSE and A Level music support in performance, composition and theory.
Available to support students through working through their grades, learning repertoire for leisure as well as exam and audition support.

The aim of my lessons is for students to leave feeling confident in their abilities, feeling engaged from the lessons and being able to work hard at their goals whilst at the same time being able to enjoy the lessons and their hobbies.
