As a slow learner myself. I prefer to use visuals to help students understand and give several realistic examples on a concept so it will be easier for students to understand. I like to encourage students to become confident on studying. Therefore I prefer to use positive reinforcement to encourage them and provide them confidence. I usually prefer to let them think first before I give any guidelines. And rather than giving the answers straight ahead I prefer to let them guide themselves to the answers because it will be more meaningful for them and it helps them remember as they figured the answer themselves.
