I’m a Lower Sixth student studying A-level Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science. Having achieved grade 9s in all 12 of my GCSEs, I want to help other students feel more confident in maths and work towards their target grades.

Having recently taken the exams myself, I understand the pressure of revision and how frustrating it can be when a topic doesn’t make sense. I aim to create a relaxed environment where you can ask questions freely, take your time and learn from mistakes.

My online lessons will be tailored to your current understanding and the areas you want to improve. We’ll start by discussing your goals, exam board and any topics you find challenging. You’re welcome to bring questions from school, homework or past papers, or I can choose questions to guide the session.

A typical lesson will begin with a short recap before we work through a topic together. I’ll explain the method step by step, including why it works, and then give you opportunities to try similar questions yourself. As your confidence grows, we’ll move on to questions that require you to apply what you’ve learnt in less familiar situations.

Alongside subject knowledge, we’ll practise exam technique: showing clear working, recognising useful approaches, checking answers and avoiding common mistakes. We can revisit topics in later sessions to check that you can still use the methods independently.

Whether you’re building the foundations needed to pass or tackling harder questions to aim for grades 8 and 9, I’ll adapt the pace and difficulty to suit you. My goal is to help you understand maths more clearly and approach questions with greater independence.
