With the right teaching methods, I try to create an enjoyable and productive classroom experience for students where they can learn essential academic and social skills to last a lifetime. I try to use a variety of frameworks that support students with different interests, abilities and learning styles. I try learning about new instructive strategies to maximize my students’ chances of success.
Teaching methods are opportunities to make learning engaging, inspiring and fun for students. They aid me in fulfilling the responsibility of guiding my students' social and emotional development. Using the right strategies, I instil values of respect, empathy and cultural sensitivity into my classroom.
In my eighteen years of teaching experience, I have equipped myself with carefully crafted and tested teaching methods that will make learning seem like a cakewalk.
I have always believed that learning is a lifelong process and hence am always open to imbibing the good I see in other professionals in my field. Feedback from students and their parents leads me in creating new and improved teaching strategies. I know " We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails." hence my ability to adapt gives me the wings to facilitate and move in pace with the new teaching skills thus sailing my students to brighter horizons.
