Having experience working with primary school children and also being a primary school child myself I have learned that during tutoring one must keep them engaged. I achieve this through games and interactive problem solving during my tutoring sessions, I believe the key to success is building a child's confidence up to make sure they can tackle questions independently in the exams. My lessons can be either 1 or 2 hours depending on what works best for the child and once I have met the child I can start building lessons based on their troublesome areas whilst incorporating their interests to ensure it stays interesting and fun for them!
