I offer English lessons that are personalised to help you get the most your time. Having recently completed my GCSEs in the last few years, I know exactly what works for exams now and what examiners are looking for.
I try my best to make sure lessons are:
- Structured but flexible where we focus on what you need most.
- Exam-focused strategies with tips and tricks that actually work for the current specs.
- Using exercises and feedback to improve your writing and analysis.
And of course friendly guidance! I get what it’s like to be in your shoes, so lessons are relaxed but effective.

Here's a little preview of what lessons with me would be like as a GCSE student:

Before we jump into exams, we start with a discussion about you. What’s been tricky in English, why you feel tutoring is needed, and where you think the challenges come from. This helps us really understand the issues and make sure we focus on solving them.

We also look at the exam spec together, so you know exactly what’s expected and what the examiners are looking for. Once that’s clear, the main focus becomes exam practice. The key to improving in English is being able to apply theory in under exam conditions!

Overall we'd try our best to work through any problems along the way and make sure we create a comfortable and fulfilling environment!
