As someone who is extremely passionate about education, particularly of Mathematics, I am excited to
plan, prepare and deliver high-quality, insightful and inspiring lessons which will teach key mathematical
skills as outlined in the national curriculum. I ensure that my resources are sufficiently scaffolded and
differentiated so that all students are appropriately challenged. My strong subject knowledge enables me to
explain concepts in greater depth, break down complex topics, link units together, and reference interesting
real-life applications. My lessons are highly engaging and diagnostic due to my emphasis on visual aids
and maximising student participation.

I possess over 4 years’ experience of teaching A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics - I am
proficient in teaching all aspects of Pure, Mechanics and Statistics according to the Edexcel specification.
Wherever possible, I highlight to students how to maximise the utility of their Casio FX-991EX and
FX-CG50 calculators. I make frequent use of animations from Desmos which I have coded myself. I also regularly supplement
my lessons with material from other exam boards, including IB, OCR, Pre-U, AQA, etc.
