Imane Belgoufi

I am an Algerian-born, London-raised university student with a strong passion for education and youth development. After completing college, I began working with a nursery agency, which gave me valuable experience in early years education. However, I discovered my strength and preference in working with secondary school students, particularly those aged 13–15, where I feel I can communicate more effectively and have a greater impact.

Currently working in schools while studying at university, I bring both academic insight and relatable experience to my role. I understand the stress and challenges students face, and this helps me connect with them on a deeper level. My patient and approachable nature makes me a trusted figure for many of the students I support.

My teaching methods focus on simplifying learning. I break down complex concepts into manageable parts, use real-life examples, and avoid overwhelming students with too much information at once. I also incorporate interactive learning techniques such as discussions, visual aids, and quick recall activities to reinforce memory. Encouraging student-led explanations and using praise to build confidence are also key parts of my approach.

Being both a student and an educator gives me a unique perspective. I strive not just to teach but to support, inspire, and help students develop a love for learning and the tools to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
